The Imo State Police Command has send to search for inspector Michael Edem to sieze
him, who accused to have shot and killed Friday Nduka a.k.a Eto, two days to his wedding.
The deceased,
of 28-year-old and a Malaysian-based businessman that comes from Egbuoma in Oguta Local Government Area of imo state, that was killed in front of fiancée and his younger brother at the Nigerian National
Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Mega filling station that is located along onisha road, after a fight with one of the
pump attendants who he allegedly accused
of stealing his phone from his car
dashboard.
According to
the source that witness the incident he said that , after the fight, the victim
entered into his car and was driving out
of the petrol station when the inspector, who was post to the filling station, came out from one of
the offices and stopped him and walked up
to him and shot him several times on the chest at close range beforehe go out
of the place.

Enwerem The State Police spokesman, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, told the
Nation that the Inspector, who run away
from the place after committing
the cowardly act, was yet to turn
himself in. He said that mr taiwo lakanu the Commissioner of Police,
had directed that he should be fined out
to face the law.

Michael Edem, who shot and killed the victim has not reported himself in. We
are trying our best to arrest him. We
have been to his home but he has fled out of the place .he further said But we are not going to leave any stone
unturned in making sure that he is apprehended and brought to book," Mr Enwerem stated.
He, however,
open up that the salary inspector Michael Edem, and other condition of having a right to have the
fleeing culprit had been freeze by the Commissioner
of Police, who had assured the victim’s immediate family of justice.
"If he does not report himself we will be force to declared him destroyer, he ensured the family that we are strongly by the action of the officer and we are certainly not going to let it go under the carpet. The Command wishes to ensure the general public that the will do everything humanly possible to ensure that justice is done and immediately too," he promised.
