at least 15 boko haram fighter were killed in borno state as the attack Nigerian armies.






At least 15 Boko Haram terrorist fighters were killed by small group of horse soldiers of Nigeria in Borno on Friday as the Operation Lafiya Dole and Boko Haram terrorists come together for a prolonged fierce battle in Borno State.

Military insiders told PREMIUM TIMES that the battle started around  6 a.m in the morning and lasted until  9 a.m. that same morning
The sources said that the battle began when fighters of the terror group bring out a unknown attack on troops location in Rann, in northern Borno, shooting sporadically.

 According to the source he said that the Troops from 3 group about 1000 soldiers and 112 Task Force Battalion are stationed in the area.


The soldiers responded promptly, killing an uncountable number of the terrorists, and wounding several others.

The battle stated for at least over two hours, and when the fight settled the found, series  terrorists dead body all over.

The sources said more than 15 of the Boko Haram fighters were killed in course of the fight.

Another source said that the numbers were much higher, saying many other terrorists run from the place with gunshot wounds.

The two  sources further said four Nigerian soldiers were wounded in the course of the fight, adding that authorities had since contacted the nearby 22 Brigade to send air ambulance to removed a critically injured soldier.

According to the sources he gave arms and ammunition recovered from the terrorists group to which are as follows 40X M21 rounds, two AK47 rifles,two locally made explosive four FN rifles, one M21 rifle, 110 X 7.62MM NATO ammunition, 20 X 7.62MM special, and 4 X FN extra magazine.

Friday’s battle is the first since the military overpowered and chased the Boko Haram sect from the fear greatly Sambisa Forest, a large fort from where the group bring attacks on Nigeria for years.

Abubakar Shekau leader of the terror appeared in a new video one day after the sect claiming his group had not been defeated.

The Army immediately send back, saying the video by Mr. Shekau was a piece of arrangements for spreading a certain belief that should be disregarded.
