The Youth of igbo Associations, Apo in FCT, on Friday staged a diplomatic
prost to FCT High Court and Ministry of fairness, criticize Thursday’s decision
on the Apo six case.
The Chief Judge of
the FCT, Justice Ishaq Bello, had in his decision damned to loss of, Emmanuel
Baba and Ezekiel Acheneje, and discharged, Danjuma Ibrahim, Nicholas Zakariah
and Sadiq Salami.
They were accuse
with guilty slaughter for the killing of Ifeanyi Ozor, Chinedu Meniru, Isaac
Ekene, Paulinus Ogbonna, Anthony Nwodike and Augustina Arebun.
The five were in
the midst of six charge over the killing of the seller on June 7, 2005, on misgiving
that they were armed robbers.
Othman Abdulsalam,
the Divisional Police Officer in Apo, and the sixth defendant on the accuse piece
is at present on the dash.
The campaigner during
their narrator, Chief Chemezie Ifeh and Chief Motimor Ihejirka, said that they
were unhappy with the decision which fated only two and not tied up the major
person in the killing.
“Danjuma Ibrahim,
the DCP kill Ifeanyi Ozor and now he is free of charge and he was the one who
gave the order to the two low-ranking officers to kill the outstanding five.
“We order that if
Danjuma would be free; let the two fated officers be set without charge since
they acted under the order of their advanced.
“We insist that
this case must not be absent to go away like this, the extra-judicial killing have
to end.

on it.
At the Ministry of
fairness, Mr Hamza Tahir of the lawful draft section highly praised them for
their nonviolent protest and swear to take their memo to the minister.
“The ruling has
just been approved, and if your mail are present, we will appear at it as well
as the events and the decision.
“ he guaranteed
that The minister is dedicated to fairness and will seem at the matter you may lift
in your memo, it can go to petition and as well obtain to the highest courtyard
if the require be.

Meniru, the senior brother of Chinedu, who was in the midst of the kill Apo seller,
said “Our father die because of my brother’s slay and our mother since then she
was sick
