A Pastor was apprehended for attempting to bomb church in Edo State.

Pastor Abel Eku, a Benin based pastor, has been under arrest for trying  to bomb the headquarters of his church, church name is the Christ Chosen Church of God, The country is reporting.

Pastor Abel who argue to have serve up the church for twenty five years, sow volatile inside the hall of the church headquarters on January 22, the day the church was to clutch an global meeting.

The volatile were notice and policemen were ask to come at scene, who explode the volatile. Men of the Edo State Police Command detained Pastor Abel on 7^th of  March 2017 and he admit to have put on the volatile and place in the ground them himself.

talking to newsmen through a procession at police headquarters, Pastor Abel said he sow the blast since he was sour about his removal from the church over wedded problem.

Pastor Abel further said he did it out of irritation but later be sorry his action which made him to call the church officials about the place of the blast.

 He said the blast was not destined to kill but to fright his church members and leader.

According to pastor abel he said, “I am 57 years old. I had marital problem with my companion. We came to the church to make mind up and it was not set on.

 It led to my removal from church. I was extremely sour about the discharge. I don’t have the purpose of murder people. My deed is extremely terrible.”

On how he was made a pastor in the church, Pastor Abel said his parents presented him to the church as a first fruit since of incapability to have children. “I was given to the church as a first issue.

My parents got married for several years with no child, so they swear at the altar that any first child God gave to them would be given to the church. That is how I  was given to the church.”
